Qld: Girl dies after hair caught in spa filter
A teenage girl whose hair became caught in a spa filter at a Queensland resort on Monday
has died.
Police say they are preparing a report for the coroner on the 13-year-old Toowoomba girl's death.
She was swimming in a spa pool at a resort in Noosa, on the Sunshine Coast, on Monday
when she was dragged underwater by her ponytail.
She was airlifted unconscious to the Nambour Hospital.
