FED: Howard push for disabled to get off welfare and work

SYDNEY, Jan 12 AAP - People on disability support pensions will reportedly be encouraged
to get off welfare and into work under a new plan from the federal government.

Up to 670,000 people on disability support pensions would be encouraged to sign up
to the Job Network to find work, potentially saving $1 billion a year in welfare payments
if 150,000 move into jobs, The Australian newspaper reported today.
